Equine Facility Design created three alternative site plans for this client’s project to use in fundraising and jurisdictional pre-approvals. The facility program includes a 125’ x 250’ covered indoor riding arena with seating for 1,500 spectators. That structure also includes offices, restrooms, and vendor/food area. The site layout has 200 horse stalls in eight separate barns clustered around two outdoor riding arenas. Also included is a veterinary center and therapy treatment area. Outdoor round pens, covered exercisers, and parking for spectators, competitors, and boarders are part of the site development plans. On the sloping site we also placed guest cottages and a restaurant by the river in the lower portion of the site and a future hotel, spa, and golf course in the higher portions of the site.
