Grading and Drainage
When the roads, buildings, and outdoor use areas are laid out for your horse barn or equine facility, consideration is given to placing the development grading and drainage in such a way as to best fit in with the natural contours of the land and minimize excavation cut and fill. Underlying soil conditions, like shallow bedrock, may influence placement of features and limit grading.
We design to intercept and reroute rainwater from developed areas. Sometimes we work with a civil engineer in the design and coordination of grading, storm water management, erosion control, or underground utilities.
