This land is a historic, 420 acre farm of early settlers in the area. It is being transformed into a living history working farm. Historically there were numerous trails through the fields and forests that surrounding stables used for decades. The foundation that is developing the farm wanted to improve the trails that had fallen into disrepair and maintain control of access to the trails. The horse park was formed and is supported through memberships. Dues go to the improvements of trails. Equine Facility Design worked with the foundation to layout over eight miles of trails on the site, map the trails, establish priorities for improvements, and cost estimates to assist in fund raising.
